Do not think that dieting for a few months will permanently lose your weight. Dieting alone is only a temporary solution. You will have to change your eating lifestyle and stick to it for the long term to maintain your results. This mindset shift was crucial for me.

Motivation and emotional support help a lot. Consider joining an online health club where you can find people on the same journey. Losing weight together, even virtually, helps morally. Reassurances from friends and family also play a great role in keeping you on a healthy track. Talk to your friends, family, and coworkers about your goals.
Take Before and After Photos
This tip always helps and is great for motivation. When you can watch your progress, it keeps you going. Taking photos before and during your weight loss journey will satisfy you and make you feel happy. You will be motivated to carry on. This thing works for sure! Keep a camera handy and document your journey.
Find Healthy Substitutes
Another good way to regulate your diet is to find substitutes for the foods you have been eating all your life. Observe what other people use as substitutes and try them. Even good restaurants offer low-calorie substitute options. Believe it or not, substitute food may seem tastier than the original once your taste buds adjust!

Identify which physical activity works best for you. It doesn’t need to be harsh or extreme. It just has to be something you can easily follow regularly. For me, it started with walking. For you, it might be swimming, dancing, or cycling. Find what you enjoy and stick with it.
